Programme Details

Atharva Institute of Film and Television students learn important filmmaking skills and practice in a professional studios. We offer the best of faculties combined with technical film training with our program. .This course is divided into 2 Semester 1 where a student will go various aspects of Film Making.

The students begin their foundation with basics of film and media like storytelling, photography, video and audio literacy in addition to liberal arts. In later parts of the degree, they learn the technical and aesthetic aspects, Direction, Cinematography, Screenwriting, Editing, Sound Engineering along with acting as well.

Duration: 12 months, Full Time, June to July

Semester 1 July to December

Semester 2 January to June

Where Will the Degree Take You?

Working at the entry level, you will likely start on smaller, lesser-known films and documentaries including educational or government films or commercials.

You will need to expand your portfolio by working on almost anything and everything available for you to grow your reputation in the industry. But if you have the talent, creativity, persistence, and direction, you can work your way from the grunt work of a production assistant to a well-established role in the area of the film industry which interests you.

Every student will individually make a film up to 5 minutes at the end of Semester 1 and Documentary Film.

At the end every student will individually make a short film up to 5-7 minutes.

Step 1 : The applicants are required to collect the Admission Form and Brochure from Atharva Institute of Film and Television.

Step 1 : Fill the admission form and submit the form with the documents.

Step 1 : The students are eligible to seek admission by submitting the documents given below:

10th and 12th Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
Junior College Leaving Certificate
Transfer and Migration Certificate (In case of applicants outside Maharashtra/ Open University)
GAP Affidavit (In case of Gap after appearing 12th).
4 Passport Size Photographs

The applicants are required to get Originals as well as 2 Photocopies of the documents mentioned above along with the filled admission form.

The applicants are required to pay the fees and seek admission within the time stipulated for admission, failing which they stand a chance to lose their seat.
